About The Event
Join the Greater NJ United Women in Faith for Mission u 2025 to explore the powerful theme "Practicing Hope Together."
This 3-day in-person event from July 18-20 will guide participants through Jesus's resurrection appearances and early Christian communities to discover what it means to practice hope, especially when everything seems to be falling apart.
Three inspiring curricula are available for different age groups:
For Adults: "Practicing Hope" by Tabatha Holley explores finding hope in challenging times, addressing questions like "What is hope in the face of neofascism?" and "How does Christ teach us to embody hope when our backs are against the wall?" Through eight sessions, participants will explore different aspects of hope through Scripture, discussion, and "soul tending" practices.
For Youth: "Communities of the Spirit" examines hope in early post-resurrection Christian communities, guiding youth to consider what components they need in their own spiritual communities.
