BJUMC is happy to announce that Pyeonghwa Lim will be working at our ministry with Pastor Dave as part of her supervised ministry requirements for her mDiv degree from Drew Theological School. During her time with us, we will be helping her to develop her skills and clarify her calling for pastoral ministry as she works to support our ministry draw us all deeper in our relationship with Jesus the Christ. From Pyeonghwa: Hello. My name is Pyeonghwa Lim. I am from South Korea. I received a B.A. in Christian Education from Methodist Theological University in Seoul, South Korea. I am studying theology(M.div program) at Drew Theological School. Here in the United States, I am trying to study life, learn the language and culture, and feel the joy of broadening my perspective on theology and the world. Before coming to the U.S., I served in children’s ministry and Youth ministry in Methodist churches in Seoul, South Korea. With a special heart for education, I also had a teacher's license to teach religious subjects in secondary schools. I enjoy playing the piano and watching Disney animations. I am honored and pleased to be here at BJUMC as an Intern. I am looking forward to getting to know more about BJUMC church and community.
