Hi! My name is Esther Somp. I’m originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, and currently a seminarian in my final year at Drew Theological School, where I’ve been learning, growing, and discerning my call to ministry. As part of that journey, I am blessed to know that I will be spending the next several months with you worshiping, learning, and serving, and I’m so excited to be joining you soon as your pastoral intern. While I’ll be involved in many areas of church life, I’m especially looking forward to simply getting to know you. I’m coming in ready to listen, to learn more, and to walk alongside you in whatever ways I can. I truly believe that ministry is simply walking on the path of love together, and I can’t wait to see how God will move in our time together. Thank you for welcoming me into your community.
