The Vision Statement of Bishop Janes Church says, in part, "We believe that worship is a joyful celebration of our own personal and community relationship with Jesus Christ." Our worship is filled with wonderful music provided by the choirs - children, youth, adults and bells - and congregational hymn-singing that is supported by the extraordinary talent of Connie Schmalz, our church organist.
Because worship is a congregational activity, a large variety of people - children, youth and adults - provide worship leadership as scripture readers, communion servers, liturgists (worship leaders), ushers, greeters, prayer leaders and choir members. On any given Sunday, visitors will note that worship concludes with a congregational singing of "Shalom to You, Christ be your Shalom." This is an expression of our encouragement of one another to grow in faith and to walk with Christ during the coming week.
Visitors are not only welcome - they are expected.

We gather each week for centering inspiration and encouragement of our faith, so that we might be effective ministers for Christ in our families, where we work, in the community and in the world around us. Worship services - preaching, music, and participation of the people -- are grounded in Biblical scripture. The following is our schedule of services:
